Shakespeare Globe "Midsummer Night's Dream"

Art For All would like to announce once again, Shakespeare’s Globe to bring Globe Education’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream to the United Arab Emirates. A Midsummer Night’s Dream is the centrepiece of Playing Shakespeare with Deutsche Bank and will be performed to over 20,000 people at the Globe Theatre before arriving in Abu Dhabi and  Dubai. This full-scale production is brought to the UAE by the same creative team behind the 2011 production of Macbeth and will feature a cast of 11 actors and 4 musicians. The production will last approximately 1hr 30 mins (without an interval) is suitable for students from Key Stage 3 upwards.

“HORRIBLE HISTORIES” ….The Awful Egyptians……School Workshops from 3rd-17th March 2012

The Birmingham Stage Company will bring to Dubai a short version of their best selling show: Horrible Histories: The Egyptians.

From the fascinating Pharoahs to the power of the pyramids, join the HORRIBLE HISTORIES team on a sixty minute adventure in awful Egypt! Discover the foul facts of death and decay with the meanest mummies in town – find out why they made their mummies and how they did it! Learn how you enter through the Gates of the Afterlife and what you need to avoid being eaten by Apophis! With songs and participation, there’s no better way to learn about Egypt than an hour with the HORRIBLE HISTORIES team!
